A Weekend Foodie Adventure in New York City – 3 Days, 2 Nights

Friday: Exploring the Upper East Side and Midtown

Morning

Our whirlwind New York City adventure begins at Levain Bakery, a hidden gem tucked away in the Upper East Side. Their enormous, gooey chocolate chip cookies are a must-try.

After indulging in cookies, we headed to the American Museum of Natural History, where we spent hours exploring fascinating exhibits and dinosaur skeletons. You can book tickets in advance to avoid long lines.

Afternoon

Our next stop was the Hotel Ameritania at Times Square. This centrally located hotel made it easy to access many attractions.

We decided to grab a refreshing bubble tea at Bubble and Sip, just a short walk away.

We then paid our respects at the World Trade Center Memorial and took a stroll in DUMBO, enjoying the iconic views of the Manhattan Bridge.

Evening

For dinner, we headed to Time Out Market, a food hall that offers a variety of culinary delights.

Saturday: Exploring the West Side and Lady Liberty

Morning

Saturday started with a visit to the Farmers Market on 7th Street, where we explored fresh produce and local goods.

Next, we ventured to Hudson Yards and marveled at the modern architecture. The Vessel, a stunning structure, provided panoramic views of the city.

Afternoon

Lunch was at Mercado Little Spain in Hudson Yards, where we savored Spanish delicacies.

Afterwards, we took a leisurely walk on the High Line, enjoying the beautiful greenery and street art. Chelsea Market nearby is a food lover’s paradise with diverse food stalls.

We then embarked on the Staten Island Ferry to get up close to the Statue of Liberty, a quintessential NYC experience.

Evening

Dinner was a culinary journey at Eataly NYC Flatiron, where we indulged in Italian delights.

For a taste of classic NYC pizza, we couldn’t resist Joe’s Pizza.

Dessert was a slice of heaven at Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery, known for their famous New York cheesecake.

We wrapped up the day with a visit to the iconic Times Square, a dazzling display of lights.

Sunday: East Village Culinary Adventure

Morning

Our last day in the city began in the East Village with a hearty lunch at Katz’s Deli, famous for their pastrami sandwiches.

We then enjoyed Bauhaus buns, a delicious and affordable treat at Bao Haus.

Lunch was a steaming bowl of ramen at Momofuku Noodle Bar.

As our time in New York City came to an end, we headed to the airport by 3:30 PM, carrying with us memories of a fantastic weekend filled with delicious food and unforgettable experiences.
